Interactive Teaching of Grammar

Abstract

The purpose of foreign language teaching is to cultivate the learners’ communicative competence. Grammar is among the most important ingredients for its full development. This paper aims to search for an interactive approach to grammar teaching. Language teaching should be both grammatical and interactive. Grammar teaching is an inevitable part of interactive language teaching, and that grammar is the basis of language learning. As systematic and complicated grammar rules are boring, teachers should create a relaxing and authentic atmosphere of learning, adapting to student—centered interactive teaching approach, organize communicative activities and take advantage of different tactics in all kinds of curriculum design to arouse the students’ interest in learning English and to make grammar teaching more interactive and interesting.

摘  要

现代外语教学的目的是通过教学,培养学习者的交际能力。交际能力要得到充分发展,受到诸多方面因素的影响,语法就是其中重要的1项。本文主要探讨在交互式教学中如何进行语法教学,交互式语法教学也就是说要在语法教学中提倡互动,适应以学生为主的多样化交互式教学。语法是语言学习的基础,由于复杂、系统的语法知识很枯燥,所以说在语法教学过程当中教师应注意创造轻松真实的学习环境,开展各种交际活动,引导学生主动进行学习,通过互动启发学生思维,并采用各种教学设计,利用不同的教学策略,提高学的英语学习的兴趣,使语法教学交际化,趣味化。
